SEYBLU
Jazz-rooted, soul-fed, and undeniable on stage. Toronto’s Seyblu blends alt-R&B and jazz with introspective songwriting, softly controlled runs, and a captivating live show.
Her journey as a jazz musician includes prestigious opening slots for legends Oliver Jones and Jane Bunnett & Maqueque, and last year opening for Infinity Song, showcasing her evolution into the R&B realm. The beginning of 2026 started off strong with a performance in Canada’s Music Incubator Showcase: Day Ones, where she presented her signature live band, blending the energy of Anderson Paak with the tenderness of Sade – followed by an international performance at the Lincoln Center in New York City in February 2026.
With over 10K followers across social media platforms, Seyblu’s bold style, pure vocal tone, and captivating live performances reflect and celebrate a diverse femme experience. Her music has garnered attention from respected outlets including Earmilk and Exclaim!, placements on reputable playlists like Spotify’s Equal and Radar Canada, as well as hundreds of radio plays across independent stations across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. As a recent participant in the RBC First Up/MusiCounts program, Seyblu continues to establish herself as a rising force in the Canadian music landscape.
As co-founder of Chai & Jam, Seyblu is a distinctive voice emerging from Canada’s jazz and R&B scene. This groundbreaking music festival bridges Indian classical, jazz, and R&B, creating a culturally rich platform where underrepresented artists can collaborate, experiment, and thrive.
Her debut album Day Dream, released in late 2025 and produced by Scott McCannell (of Tanika Charles and Aphrose), is a lush alt-R&B and jazz-soul odyssey balancing introspective moments with uplifting energy.

"When [Seyblu] first stepped onto the Poetry stage, I realized that she had what most Canadian bands lack: Struggle, sense of urgency, & fire. [Seyblu] & her band showed up early & left late as if to say to her fans that this shit is real!"
